The Diocletian's Palace is certainly the most important attraction in the whole city. More than a palace, it is a structure with buildings, streets and a beautiful courtyard overlooking the sea. It was built by the order of the Roman Emperor, between 293 and 305. Nowadays, this is one of the best-preserved Roman architectural monuments in Croatia.
